About DACO Compassion Table
Many children in Kenya continue to face barriers to education due to poverty, inadequate learning resources, caregiving responsibilities, and other socio-economic challenges. As a result, many are forced to drop out of school, limiting their future opportunities and increasing their vulnerability.
-
Without sustainable intervention, these children risk remaining trapped in cycles of poverty and social exclusion.
With this realization, Dream Alive and Care Organization has developed DACO Compassion Table project - a sustainable Education Retention social enterprise initiative designed to generate resources for supporting vulnerable children with school fees and educational needs through partnerships and collaborations with multi faith congregations. - Inspired by the fellowship and generosity demonstrated by the early Church in the Book of Acts where believers gathered around shared meals, strengthened fellowship, and collectively cared for the vulnerable, DACO Compassion Table combines community engagement, faith, and social impact. The project will prepare and share quality meals with multi faith congregations at an agreed price per plate, with proceeds directed towards education sponsorship programs.
