Dream Alive and Care Organization has signed a working Memorandum of Understanding with Royal Priest College of Divinity and Humanity, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership built around education, ethical leadership, mentorship and community service. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to equipping children, young people and communities with the knowledge, values and support they need to thrive.
- A Partnership With Purpose. The Memorandum of Understanding brings together two institutions with complementary strengths. Dream Alive and Care Organization works to keep vulnerable children in school and support their wellbeing through education recovery, child sponsorship, sanitation and menstrual health, mentorship, mental health education, child protection and community resilience.
- Royal Priest College of Divinity and Humanity brings experience in divinity, counselling, leadership and humanitarian training. The college's work in counselling and ethical leadership provides a strong foundation for partnership areas that support children's emotional wellbeing, character development and community service.
- What the MOU Seeks to Achieve. The working MOU establishes a framework for cooperation rather than a single activity. It creates space for both institutions to plan joint initiatives, share expertise and strengthen the support available to children, young people and families.
- The partnership is expected to advance work in mentorship, counselling, mental health education, ethical leadership, child protection and community engagement. It also creates opportunities for learning exchanges, capacity strengthening and joint advocacy on issues affecting vulnerable children and young people.
- Strengthening Mentorship and Mental Health. Many children face pressures that affect their confidence, attendance and ability to learn. These pressures may include poverty, family instability, violence, grief, bullying, substance use or emotional distress. The partnership recognises that academic support alone cannot address these challenges.
- Through the collaboration, both institutions intend to strengthen mentorship and mental health education for children and young people. This includes promoting safe spaces for dialogue, building the capacity of mentors and counsellors, and encouraging young people to seek help without fear or shame.
- Advancing Ethical Leadership. The partnership also reflects a shared belief that education should develop not only knowledge and skills, but also character. Royal Priest College's focus on divinity, counselling and ethical leadership complements Dream Alive and Care Organization's work with vulnerable children and communities.
- By working together, the two institutions aim to nurture young people who are responsible, compassionate and prepared to contribute positively to their families, schools and communities. This focus on values-based leadership is especially important for children and young people recovering from hardship or disruption.
- A Foundation for Joint Action. The MOU provides a framework for both institutions to identify practical areas of cooperation. These may include joint training, mentorship activities, counselling support, community outreach, child-protection awareness, research and learning exchanges.
- The agreement also creates a platform for both institutions to respond to emerging needs. Whether supporting children affected by poverty, displacement, family breakdown or emotional distress, the partnership will focus on connecting children and young people with the right combination of education, care and guidance.
- Looking Ahead. The signing of the MOU marks the beginning of a working relationship, not the end of a conversation. Both institutions will now move from agreement to implementation, defining joint activities, assigning responsibilities and reviewing progress over time.
- For Dream Alive and Care Organization, the partnership strengthens its ability to support children not only academically, but emotionally, socially and ethically. For Royal Priest College of Divinity and Humanity, it creates a practical avenue to apply counselling, leadership and humanitarian training in service of children, young people and communities.
- A Shared Commitment. The partnership is guided by a simple conviction: children and young people deserve more than sympathy. They deserve mentors who listen, institutions that protect them, education that prepares them for life and communities that believe in their potential.
- Through this working MOU, Dream Alive and Care Organization and Royal Priest College of Divinity and Humanity have committed to turning that conviction into coordinated action. Together, they will work to help children and young people learn, heal, lead and build better futures.
